We offer a 30 day warranty on mechanical parts for defects only.
We stand by the quality parts that we sell but do not accept returns on parts that are not defective or on parts that are ordered incorrectly. This helps keeps our prices low. Please verify your part numbers or ask us for assistance before ordering.
Most parts carry a 30 day parts only warranty. Exceptions are listed below. We do not under any circumstances cover labor fees unless otherwise noted. If a part is received defective or fails within 30 days of the purchase date, a replacement part will be shipped out at soon as possible. If a replacement part is not available, a full credit of the part will be issued. There are absolutely no refunds or warranty on electrical parts, ECU’s, BCM’s, body panels, plastic trim or the condition of fabric, leather, plastic or trim panels.
Bolt on Parts Warranty
Includes but is not limited to the following Starters, Steering Pumps, Alternators, Wiper Motors, etc with the exception of AC Compressors. Pulleys may need to be changed on alternators and power steering pumps depending on application. Steering racks may include tie rod ends, however, we DO NOT warranty the tie rod ends or inner boots to be in useable condition. We recommend replacing them with new ones. We do not refund shipping costs on items that have been wrongfully purchased.
Engine Warranty
ENGINES ARE CONSIDERED TO CONSIST OF SHORT BLOCK ASSEMBLY, CYLINDER HEAD, OIL PAN, VALVE COVERS and INTAKE MANIFOLD. EXHAUST MANIFOLDS may not be included if they include a catalytic converter as we can not sell used converters. Be prepared to use your existing coil packs, distributor, injectors and sensors to ensusre compatability with your existing engine’s ECU. ANY SEALS, GASKETS, FLUIDS, WATER PUMP AND TIMING BELTS MUST BE REPLACED TO ENSURE WARRANTY. OVERHEATED, ALTERED OR IMPROPPERLY INSTALLED PARTS VOID WARRANTY. CHANGE INDUCTION & ELETRICAL SYSTEMS(HARNESS) AS NEEDED. Engines are covered by our engine warrany and have special considerations. Contact us for a copy of our engine warranty.
Transmission Warranty
ALL TRANSMISSIONS AND TRANSFER CASES MUST BE INSTALLED BY AN “ASE” CERTIFIED TRANSMISSION SHOP. NEW FILTER, FLUIDS AND SEALS MUST BE INSTALLED. ALL FLUID COOLER LINES MUST BE FLUSHED, SHIFT/DETENT CABLE OR LINKAGE ASSEMBLIES MUST BE ADJUSTED. TORQUE CONVERTER MUST BE PROPERLY INSTALLED. CUSTOMER MUST OBTAIN INVOICES FOR ALL PARTS.
Body panels
No refund on deposits or unwanted special order parts, body panels including doors, bumper covers, hoods, trunk lids, fenders or special “cut” items like quarter panels. All body Panels are sold as-is and there is no refund or returns on body panels period. All of the body panels that we sell are used. There may be rust, nicks, dents or other imperefections in body panels. We try to list the imperefections and take pictures of all parts. Please be prepared to have all body panels refinished. Any other statement or promise of a warranty in any other location, including any default statements or oral statement is invalid in regards to a warranty or return on these particular items.
A/C Compressors
A/C compressors must be installed by a licenced A/C mechanic for the warranty to be valid. Be prepared to return with documentation that the compressor was professionaly installed.
Returns
We do not accept returns on non defective parts. This includes parts incorrectly ordered and/or parts that are no longer needed. Please know what you are ordering. We will assist you and answer any question we can to the best of our ability. Please ask any questions you may have before ordering. There will be a $1.00 charge if a part is cancelled prior to shipping. In addition, We are not responsible for incorrect compatibility information provided by in the “Compatibility” section as it is often inaccurate. We only guarantee that a part will fit vehicles and models listed in our description, not any information provided. If we have to accept a return for any other reason there is a 40% restocking fee on items with paid shipping and a 50% restocking fee on items with free shipping.
To return an item you must contact us via messaging within the 30 day period to obtain a RMA number (return material authorization). Original shipping charges and return shipping charges are not refunded. Once you obtain an RMA number, ship the item back to Lawrence County Auto Recycling, 1326 Wampum Rd Ellwood City, PA 16117 along with the RMA number and your original invoice or packing slip.
Shipping
Please review the shipping and handling charges before you bid. If you feel the shipping charges are inaccurate please contact us before you purchase your item. The shipping and handling charges are not able to be changed once you purchase an item.
Combined shipping charges must be negoiated BEFORE you purchase an item. We will not combine shipping charges after you purchase an item. We will normally not combine shipping charges on any items that we accept an “Best Offer” on.

If the item is listed as Freight shipping you must contact us BEFORE you bid on the item for a freight quote. Freight charges can vary widely and be very high over long distances. If you choose your own freight carrier there is a $20.00 crate charge on some large items.
Freight shipments are based on weight, size distance and delivery location. In order to accurately quote freight shipments please contact us via the as a question link with the following information: 1. Your zip code. 2. If the shipment is to (A) A business with a loading dock or forklift available. (B) A business. (C) A residence. All freight shipments will be returned to the freight facility and held if the proper delivery type is not selected – until the difference in cost is paid.
In order to speed processing and delivery, we may occasionally ship packages via a method other than what is indicated in the auction and reserve the right to substitute delivery methods as long as it does not affect the transit . Occasionally once an item is packed it is determined that it is too large or heavy for the USPS. In these instances we reserve the right to ship an item via a carrier such as UPS or FEDEX ground. Shipping and handling charges may occasionally be in excess of postage costs to account for handling expenses. Any overages are not refundable.
You are provided with a tracking number via . If you do not recieve a tracking number within 2 business days of your order please contact us for your tracking number. You are responsible for accepting delivery of your package including signing for the package if necessary. If a package is returned to us beacuse of missed delivery attemps by UPS the purchaser is responsible for any charges to reship the package.
International shipping is available. Call us for a quote if necessary. ANY CUSTOMS FEES, DUTIES OR TAXES are the responsibility of the buyer.
Items that are preboxed will be shipped within 2 days of purchase. Other items will be shipped within 3 days.
Please allow 5-10 days for delivery. Most areas in the US are within 5 days.
If an item arrives damaged, please email us within 24 hrs for instructions. DO NOT ACCEPT ANY PACKAGES OR FREIGHT SHIPMENTS THAT SHOW SIGNS OF EXTERNAL DAMAGE. WE CAN NOT RECIEVE A DAMAGE REIMBURSEMENT FROM A FREIGHT CARRIER IF YOU ACCEPT THE DELIVERY.

Sales tax will be applied to all orders shipped to the state of PA.

– The second level quality part. It is of average miles and normal condition for its age.
