When installing a new throttle body, is it necessary to follow that up with an engine tuning?

When replacing the throttle body (the piece of the air intake system that controls the amount of air flowing into the engine, located between the air filter box and the intake manifold, and usually attached to, or near, the mass airflow sensor), is it necessary to have a tune-up?

I’m just curious. It would seem to me that the answer is “no” sense a tune-up is more electrically & fuel-related to ignition, mixture, and distribution. What do you think? How much does a tune-up cost?
