How to Choose Auto Wax

All types of waxes need patience, elbow grease and time. It is required to spend at least one hour to complete the job most decently and it also depends on the size of the vehicle, how fast you do the work, product you choose and how well you are with the work. To find out the wax that suits to your vehicle, it is better to match the car care needs to your car wax.

It depends on the age of the car. If it is more than one year old and less than three years and still has good finishing then it is advisable to go for a spray wax. No new car will shine after applying wax, but it preserves the finishing of the car for longer time.

Liquid waxes are proved as better ones for the cars that are very old, has embedded grime and already started oxidizing. The abrasive waxes can leave the hazes or fine scratches on the car as it is. The scratches appear more easily on the vehicles with dark colours when compared with the cars in light colours. While choosing the waxes you should be very clear as the products for the dark or blacked coloured vehicles scored very low in the hazing and scratching tests.

Some of the waxes may leave noticeable residue on porous plastic and non glossy parts like door trims, plastic body panels and bumpers. These parts will be mostly gray or black. Once it is applied to your car then it is necessary to use affordable plastic cleaner to get rid of it.

The best wax to use is spray-on wipe-off wax for those wish to spend less time and the finishing of the car is still good.
