1950 Chevy 216 Engine With Mounted Manual Transmission

1950

I have for sale a Chevy 216 ci engine ( it does have the Tin or Thin metal Head side ) with a manual Transmission mounted to it.  I took it out of a 1950 Chevy Stepside Pickup back in 99, after taking it out and doing some minor body work to the cab I had a Heart Attack and it has been sitting covered in a heated garage since.  I am just now getting back into building ( after retirement ) it from the ground up with a 350 ci. and need the floor space.  I drove it for a year and it ran Great with no problems, ( the engine still turns freely )  I would say it’s still in very good condition.  How it is seen in the pictures is how it came out,  I have rinsed and wiped it down though.  I have never separated the Trans. from the engine. Included are several boxes of parts;  Canister w/oil filter, Carb, Breather, Exhaust Manifold,  Intake Manifold, Distributor, 3 starters and to many small parts ( all off the engine ) to mention.  The buyer will have to pick it up here;  I have a ceiling hoist to lift it straight up and down onto an open pickup. I also have the front straight axle and the steering collum and box , that I may be posting later. Thanks for looking at my sale

I will enclude the org. front straight axle ( with hubs ) , the streering coloum with box and Drive Shaft to the winning bidder if they want them.  Good luck in bidding .
